Alberta, Open Sewers and the Keystone Pipeline

The Provincial Government of Alberta has launched a sustained counter-attack against the opponent of ‘dirty tarsands oil’. According to the Alberta government, Alberta’s tarsands oil is “ethical oil”, being extracted from lands in a democratic country that is well-regulated in addition to being free of terrorism and exploitation. Needless to say, such claims are wide open to intense scrutiny.
